I was so thrilled when Madeleine and Joe, the couple behind the innovative new local business Naturally Otway asked me to come along to their beautiful home in Lorne and photograph them relaxing in their inspirational workspace.

Naturally Otway is a locally owned and operated venture, based in Lorne, which sources and distributes locally produced food to holiday homes. This fresh and innovative business is now operating in the area from Torquay to Apollo Bay and the surrounding hinterland. They have begun to partner with a range of local produce suppliers including Apostle Whey Cheese, Dinnygoonan Wine, Forrest Brewery and Koallah Farm.

These are my favourites from a shoot that captures the wilds of the Otway's and a couple living out their dream of escaping the city to begin a new life in their favourite place. In between the rain we laughed at the unpredictable coastal weather and Mads and Jo had a celebratory drink to finish (one of the perks of the job they tell me!) I had a lovely cup of tea followed by another one at the Forrest General store on the way home. Perfect!
